Lighting Designer

Job DescriptionLocations: Ocala, FL (remote with field travel, mileage expensed)Tallahassee, FL (remote with field travel, company vehicle provided)Insight Global is seeking two entry-level Lighting Designers for a power distribution client in the Greater Orlando Area. One position will support the Ocala region, and the other will support Tallahassee.This is a client-facing, fully remote role with regular field work and customer travel. The Lighting Designer will work directly with residential and commercial customers requesting new lighting installations and will support projects from initial field assessment through design, billing, permitting, and handoff to construction.Key Responsibilities: Meet directly with residential and commercial customers requesting new lighting installations Conduct field assessments to evaluate site conditions and installation requirements Perform lighting design work in accordance with utility standards and customer needs Prepare customer billing and cost documentation Coordinate project details and send scheduling information to construction teams Work with internal teams on permitting and approvals Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the design phase Travel to job sites and customer locations as required Note: This role is fully remote but requires frequent field travel within the assigned territory.Ocala: Hernando & Citrus countiesTallahassee: Mexico beach to east of TallahasseeWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
