A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Paterson, NJ, serving an elementary school caseload. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services primarily to students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Working two days per week, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Thursdays and Fridays, the position supports approximately 19 elementary students. Key Responsibilities: Deliver speech-language interventions tailored to the needs of elementary-aged students, with a focus on ASD. Collaborate with educators and other professionals to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to guide therapy adjustments. Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance service delivery. Maintain accurate documentation of sessions and student progress. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred. Experience or training in school-based SLP services. Familiarity with teletherapy modalities. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is acceptable. Experience or support roles as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in school or healthcare settings may be considered. Location: The position is based in Paterson, New Jersey, within a school environment.
