Partnering cross-functionally, this position keeps project leadership well-informed on financial performance, risks, and key achievements. The role demands excellent multitasking skills, a hands-on work style, and the ability to operate independently while effectively managing both routine and ad-hoc priorities with a sense of urgency when required.Essential Responsibilities / Accountabilities Oversee and execute monthly project accounting close processes for multiple TAIT locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare, maintain, and analyze project financial data to enhance visibility into project timelines, cash flow, and profit & loss projections. Generate comprehensive monthly financial reports, including variance analyses and intercompany reconciliations, in accordance with established deadlines. Operate independently while adhering to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and maintaining strict compliance with internal and external audit controls. Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to support budgeting, forecasting, invoicing, revenue recognition, and cost estimation activities. Manage accounting and costing systems to ensure accurate recording, billing, and reporting of project-related financial information within the ERP system. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in project accounting software, tools, and financial systems relevant to project management. Team Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with project teams, providing financial expertise and support. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements, budgets, and financial procedures.  Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar background.• Minimum 5+ years accounting experience.• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in project accounting, particularly in the area of revenue recognition.• Proven and demonstrated experience in successfully managing projects and deadlines.• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently.Working Conditions and Physical EffortThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
