PGS Worldwide is seeking an RF / Microwave Engineer in Chelmsford, MA for a one year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This role supports manufacturing of complex multi-function modules used in high-reliability applications by analyzing, tuning, and troubleshooting advanced RF/microwave circuits. You will provide technical support to manufacturing to resolve assembly and test issues and collaborate with engineers, technicians, and manufacturing support teams. Required Skills Active Secret clearance (required at time of submittal) Bachelor's degree in RF / Microwave Engineering 1+ year of related experience in RF/Microwave Engineering 1+ year of experience testing, tuning, and troubleshooting microwave circuits Knowledge of RF/microwave test equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and phase noise analyzers Ability to review and interpret technical documentation such as specifications, schematic diagrams, and test data Preferred Skills Professional experience in the aerospace/defense industry Professional experience in a manufacturing environment Demonstrated academic achievement in the field of RF Familiarity with RF/microwave circuit simulation or 3D electromagnetic simulation tools Familiarity with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment What You'll Do Support manufacturing of complex multi-function RF/microwave modules used in high-reliability applications Analyze and troubleshoot circuits for advanced electronic modules including amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits Provide technical support to manufacturing operations to resolve assembly and test issues Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems engineers, circuit design engineers, technicians, and manufacturing support personnel Review and interpret specifications, schematics, and test data to drive troubleshooting and resolution actions Work Schedule / Shift 1st shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30AM - 4:00PM Job ID: 20334 "Military veterans and transitioning military members are encouraged to apply to all PGS Worldwide positions.
