This company provides a great opportunity for entry level and experienced job seekers alike Your Role - Voice & Data Lead Technician As a Lead Technician, you'll run structured cabling crews on active commercial construction and data center projects. You'll be responsible for execution, quality control, and keeping production on schedule. You'll lead: • Installation and termination of Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, and fiber optic systems • High-level copper and fiber terminations • Fluke testing, certification, and documentation • Rack-and-stack builds and full IDF/MDF room buildouts • Ladder rack, cable tray, and pathway layout • Blueprint interpretation and cable path planning • Data center moves, adds, and changes • Daily crew direction (5-15 technicians depending on project size) • Material tracking and daily reporting to Project Managers You set the pace. You ensure the work is clean, labeled, tested, and delivered right the first time. What You Bring • 5+ years of structured cabling / Voice & Data experience • Proven leadership experience running commercial crews • Strong fiber termination and testing background • Fluke certification testing and documentation experience • Solid knowledge of EIA/TIA standards • Experience managing production schedules • Ability to communicate professionally with GCs and project stakeholders • Organized, safety-focused, and deadline-driven • Reliable transportation BICSI certifications (Technician or higher) are a strong plus.
