Education Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health field plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification. Certifications Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment is required. Certification must be maintained throughout the course of your employment.
