Full-time CNC ProgrammerAbout the Position We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of MasterCAM, CNC programming, and machining processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and optimize CNC programs using MasterCAM software for various machining operations, including milling, turning, and multi-axis machining. Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and operation sequences for CNC machine operators. Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models to determine the most efficient machining processes. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and improve product designs. Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Implement and maintain standardized programming practices and procedures. Continuously improve CNC programming techniques and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC technology and programming techniques. Provide technical support and guidance to CNC machine operators as needed. Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment. Expert-level proficiency in MasterCAM software for creating and optimizing CNC programs. Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming languages. Extensive knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, and multi-axis operations. Proven experience as a machinist with hands-on operation of CNC machines. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D models. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Familiarity with other CAM software packages (e.g., Fusion 360, ESPRIT, or Siemens NX). Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with 5-axis machining and programming. Certification in CNC programming or related fields.
