Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Elevator Controls & Service Technician with strong troubleshooting experience in controller logic, electronics, and system diagnostics. This role is ideal for candidates with both elevator and HVAC certification who excel in diagnosing complex electrical and control system issues. Key Responsibilities: Inspect elevators of all types and makes; diagnose faulty operation and perform necessary repairs and adjustments Install, maintain, and repair elevators and related lifting equipment Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical system failures, including emergency situations Read electric meters and analyze controller systems Repair or replace defective components Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance Maintain accurate service and repair documentation Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes Provide professional customer service to building owners and occupants Perform other duties as assigned Pay & Schedule: Pay Range: $40-$55 per hour (based on experience) Schedule will be discussed during the interview process Requirements: Minimum 4 years of elevator experience Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical school training in elevator repair State and/or city issued Mechanic's license (as required) Strong knowledge of elevator controllers and control circuits Experience reading electric meters Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills HVAC technician background preferred In-depth knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems Valid driver's license Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and in emergency situations Work Environment: Commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, residential complexes, and other facilities Work at heights and in confined spaces Exposure to electrical systems and mechanical hazards Physical Requirements: Lift 50+ lbs Climb ladders and work in confined or elevated spaces Stand for extended periods and work in awkward positions as needed Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: Competitive salary 90% employer-paid health insurance Dental and vision coverage Employer-sponsored benefits 401(k) safe harbor match (100% vested upon entry) Generous paid time off Flexible work arrangements Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities How to Apply: To schedule an immediate interview, call 304-556-1190, text (304) 202-4693, or apply online at Current Jobs - United Talent Staffing Services (utalent.com).
