About the job Senior Project Scheduler (Primavera P6) | Oil & Energy Construction Our client is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules for large-scale construction projects within the Oil & Energy sector. This role requires advanced Primavera P6 expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead through influence in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation AssistanceContract Duration: 12 months | W2 Location: Candidates must reside within a reasonable daily commuting distance (up to 1 hour) | Local Tulsa-area candidates are strongly preferredRequirements: Identify schedule risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Establish schedule logic, critical path, milestones, and resource loading. Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and recovery plans. Support change management, time impact analysis, and claims-related schedule reviews. Facilitate scheduled review meetings and collaborate across engineering, construction, procurement, and project controls. Mentor junior schedulers and elevate scheduling maturity across the project team. Build, maintain, and manage fully integrated project schedules using Primavera P6. Perform schedule updates, progress measurement, forecasting, and variance analysis. Analyze schedule impacts related to scope changes, design evolution, and field conditions. Qualifications/Must-Haves: Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and analytics. Experience working in fast-paced, multidisciplinary project environments. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent experience. 7+ years of project scheduling experience supporting large-scale construction projects. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (required) Strong understanding of construction sequencing, work packaging, and project controls. Preferred Skills: Leadership experience (formal or informal) Certifications such as PMP, PSP, or PMI-SP. Knowledge of contract scheduling requirements and delay/claims support. Experience with mega-projects, EPC, or multi-phase construction programs. Exposure to cost controls, earned value management (EVM), or risk analysis.
