Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Electrical Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electromechanical systems at newly commissioned facilities in the White Castle, LA area. This is a field-based role ideal for a self-motivated technician who enjoys hands-on problem-solving and contributing to safe, reliable facility performance. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair electrical and electromechanical equipment issues Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM), safety inspections, and environmental checks Maintain accurate documentation for repairs, PMs, inspections, and parts usage Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely issue resolution Support operational goals by implementing facility maintenance protocols Collaborate with team members for seamless service delivery across assigned areas Assist both junior and senior technicians as needed with troubleshooting and repair work Ensure proper use, care, and calibration of tools, test equipment, and inventory Stay updated on applicable codes, standards, and best practices through training Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required In addition, one or more of the following: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience or equivalent formal training in electrical or electromechanical maintenance Valid trade certificate or equivalent technical training Ability to read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and perform field-level troubleshooting Proven track record of maintaining strong customer relationships Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team Strong organizational and documentation skills Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or similar field Familiarity with industrial facility maintenance or utility infrastructure Safety certifications such as OSHA or similar Work Schedule & Expense Details Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week, 40 hours/week. Schedule may vary based on workload "Hours worked are hours paid. No minimum hours are guaranteed. Budgeted hours may change depending on operational needs." Approved Daily Expense Allowance: $20.50 per working day for IT equipment use Mileage Reimbursement: $0.70 per mile, based on the current IRS mileage rate Covers gas, oil, insurance, and depreciation for use of personal vehicle Reimbursed up to a 300-mile round-trip radius; mileage beyond 300 miles must be pre-approved for reimbursement t BCS, our Talent is Finding Yours.
