Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Location: Bridgewater, NJ Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Compensation: $70,000–$85,000/year + full benefits Position Overview We’re hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a collaborative outpatient orthopedic clinic focused on high-quality, individualized care. In this role, you’ll support patient recovery by delivering skilled treatment under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Our team prioritizes strong clinical outcomes, ethical caseloads, and a supportive, team-based environment, never high-volume, productivity-driven treatment. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following established plans of care Maintain appropriate caseload management with a focus on quality, safety, and measurable patient outcomes Provide treatments within PTA scope of practice, including therapeutic exercise, functional training, neuromuscular re-education, balance and gait training, and manual techniques as permitted Document treatments, patient response, and progress accurately in the EMR in alignment with clinic policy and payer requirements Communicate patient status, progress, and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist in a timely, professional manner Educate patients on exercises, activities, and equipment use to support safe functional independence Ensure compliance with New Jersey practice regulations, APTA ethical standards, and Medicare/private insurance documentation guidelines Support a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment Participate in team meetings, quality improvement efforts, and community outreach initiatives as needed Contribute to a respectful, patient-centered clinic culture Who This Role Is Ideal For This position is a strong fit for a PTA who: Values attentive, patient-centered care in an outpatient orthopedic setting Is comfortable treating more than one patient at a time while maintaining high clinical standards Enjoys close collaboration with Physical Therapists in a coordinated care model Wants mentorship, continuing education, and long-term professional growth Prefers a clinic that prioritizes outcomes and quality over productivity pressure Requirements Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program Active New Jersey PTA license (or eligibility pending) Current CPR certification Strong communication skills and professional bedside manner Reliable, team-oriented approach and commitment to high standards of care Benefits Sign-on Bonus: Up to $7,500 for full-time PTA roles (based on experience and commitment), paid through structured retention milestones 401(k) with company match Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and six paid national holidays Continuing education assistance Send your CV today to be considered.
