Certified Nursing Assistant- (PRN)Location: Danbury, CT, 06810 Employment Type: PRN Pay Rate: $10 - $14/hr; (Negotiable based on experience) Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The CNA will provide high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This role is ideal for individuals who are flexible, patient-focused, and passionate about helping others. Responsibilities: Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Measure and record patients' vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration). Provide mobility support, including transferring and repositioning patients safely. Maintain patient comfort and ensure a clean, safe environment. Assist with meal preparation and feeding when necessary. Observe and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff. Support nurses and other healthcare professionals with basic medical tasks as needed. Maintain confidentiality and follow all HIPAA regulations. Document care provided according to facility policies and procedures. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent. Current CNA certification in the state of Connecticut. CPR/BLS certification (required). Minimum 6 months of CNA experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
