Part time cable assembly technician

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in building high-quality components that meet professional standards. Schedule & Pay Shift: Monday - Thursday Hours: 5:00 PM - 10:30 PM (22 hours per week) Status: Part-Time Key Responsibilities In this role, you will follow technical instructions to build various cable assemblies from start to finish. Your daily tasks will include: Measuring & Cutting: Utilizing manual tools and automated machines to cut cables to precise lengths. Wire Preparation: Stripping wire insulation to meet strict commercial requirements and standards. Assembly: Installing hardware, marking, and labeling components for easy identification. Crimping: Professional termination of wires using specialized crimping tools and terminals. Quality Control: Ensuring every assembly matches the provided diagrams and instructions perfectly. What You Bring to the Table Hand-Eye Coordination: Experience using hand tools (wire strippers, crimpers, cutters) is highly preferred. Technical Literacy: Ability to read and follow written assembly instructions and diagrams. Precision: Great attention to detail-you're the type of person who measures twice and cuts once. Reliability: You're someone we can count on to show up for every shift ready to work. Requirements Ability to sit or stand for the duration of the shift. Manual dexterity to handle small components and wires. Visual acuity to read small labels and color-coded wires. salary: $17 - $17.75 per hour shift: Second work hours: 5 PM - 10:30 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities Part Time!! 5pm-10:30pm Monday-Thursday!
