Job Title TR/MANAGER - CATERING & CONFERENCE SERVICES Location Tulalip Resort Casino - Tulalip, WA 98271 US (Primary) Category Food & Beverage Rate of Pay $33.56 per hour Job Type Full-time Job Description JOB SUMMARY: Assists with the responsibility of managing all Catering/Conference sales and related marketing functions within the Resort/Casino. Job Requirements EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. Two (2) year Degree in Business, Finance, or related field from an accredited college. Years of experience may be considered in lieu of education. SKILLS: Ability to compose routine departmental correspondence i.e., letters, reports, memorandums, speaking fluent English, etc. (Test required) Strong math and analytical skills with emphasis on researching, interpreting, and translating a variety of data, to effectively display the fiscal viability the events you manage. (Test required) EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years experience in Catering and/or Conference Services in the Hospitality Industry. Minimum of four (4) years experience selling, planning, and negotiating catering and banquet events and/or conferences. Minimum of one (1) year experience planning, creating, tracking, and implementing of budgets. Prior Northwest Market Sales preferred. Prior High Volume Sales/banquet experience preferred. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must adhere to strict confidentiality of all information seen and/or heard. Must travel, as required, to attend events and/or visit clients for business purposes. Must be able to successfully complete either a tribal, state, or federal background investigation. Must be able to obtain a Hotel Permit per Regulation 12 with the Tulalip Gaming Agency. Must be able to work any shift assigned to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or requested.
