Learn more at Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment including dozers, loaders, excavators, and related machinery Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and service manuals Perform field repairs and emergency breakdown service when needed Communicate with equipment operators and field supervisors to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime Maintain accurate service and maintenance records Follow all shop and field safety procedures Assist with equipment mobilization and setup for new job sites Qualifications Three or more years of hands on experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or diesel technician Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine systems Ability to work independently and manage multiple repair priorities Experience using diagnostic tools and maintenance software Strong problem solving and communication skills Valid driver's license with clean driving record Must pass professional review in compliance with applicable laws Benefits Competitive hourly pay of $35.00 to $45.00 based on experience Year end bonus Bi weekly pay Paid training and certifications Career advancement opportunities Travel projects with per diem when applicable Tool stipends and support Work life balance focused culture Schedule Full-Time Monday-Friday standard schedule Weekend and overtime work as needed based on repair demands and jobsite needs Location Based in Fargo, ND Occasional travel to job sites for field repairs and support Equal Employment Opportunity Jensen Brothers Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
