Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Location: - The Johns Hopkins Hospital - Baltimore, MD 21214Schedule: - Primarily night shifts; possible mix of days/nights. Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7am 7:30pm or 7pm 7:30am. Weekdays and weekends.Minimum commitment: 6 shifts per month (please note total availability)Assignment Details: Role: Neonatal NP in Level IV NICU - Beds: 49 - Daily caseload: 6 14 patients. No call.Attend all high risk deliveries - Required procedures: lumbar puncture, direct laryngoscopy intubation, chest tube placement/removal, needle decompression, needle thoracentesis, umbilical arterial/venous catheterization, suprapubic bladder tap, radial arterial cannulation.Contract: - 6 month assignment with likely extension - Start ASAP (temp privileges available) - Travel covered: flight, lodging, rental car/mileage.Requirements: Board certified NP. NNP certification required. Active Maryland NP license in hand.
