Description :Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates • Up to $1,800 Sign-On Bonus • Up to 24 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off • Up to $3,000 Relocation bonus Job Summary • Provides evaluation, direction and application of licensed nursing services to carry out the plan of care and treatment of CoxHealth at Home clients under the direction/supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, and within the realm of accepted standards of practice for a Licensed Practical Nurse. The primary goal of this position is to give care in order to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families consistent with hospice policies and procedures. Job Requirements • Education ◦ Required: Graduate of an accredited License Practical Nursing program • Experience ◦ Required: Minimum one (1) year experience as professional nurse within the last three (3) years. • Skills ◦ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ◦ Demonstrates effective knowledge of scope of practice. ◦ Exhibits valuable time management skills. ◦ Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills. ◦ Ability to provide reliable transportation as required by nature of position. • Licensure/Certification/Registration • ◦ Required: Unrestricted LPN License active in the state of Missouri ◦ Required: Active Driver's License◦ Education Required: Graduate of a practical nursing program ◦ Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years healthcare experience, preferably in the home infusion or hospital setting Preferred: Previous billing and/or intake experience ◦ Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates effective knowledge of scope of practice Exhibits valuable time management skills Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment ◦ Licensure/Certification/Registration Required: MO LPN License
