Maintenance Mechanic

An established and leading Precision Timing & Frequency Technology Firm, are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic The maintenance/manufacturing mechanic will be maintaining and repairing industrial machinery within a production facility, including performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, replacing worn parts, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently. Summary: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance checks on building systems, including HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and fire safety equipment. Perform scheduled lubrication and filter changes on machinery. Conduct preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspections. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals to understand equipment operation and repair procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Disassemble and reassemble machinery to access components for repair. Replace worn or damaged parts, including bearings, belts, gears, and seals. Perform adjustments and alignments on machinery. Repair and maintain pneumatic & electrical systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and other building components. Perform minor repairs including fixing leaky faucets, replacing light bulbs, repairing minor electrical issues, patching drywall, and fixing minor carpentry issues. Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints and technical manuals Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Basic understanding of electrical, vacuum and pneumatic systems Salary: Up to 80k base (can go higher for the right person) Comprehensive Benefits Package: Health Insurance, Dental and Vision and 401K.
