Brake Press Operator 2nd Shift Anchor Fabrication MS Walnut - Walnut, MS 38683 Overview Salary Range $16.00 - $18.00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Brake Press Operator 2nd Shift Duties Brake Press Operators are in charge of operating the press and would have the following job responsibilities: Loading/unloading material and changing tooling. Inspecting and maintaining equipment for compliance with safety requirements. Correcting any safety issues prior to performing operations. Inspecting parts per work in progress inspection procedure and ensuring they meet engineering specifications. Resolving quality and mechanical problems, making minor repairs and equipment adjustments as needed. Prioritizing production to ensure that customer orders are completed in a timely manner. Maximizing machine run time and productivity and maintaining machine and tooling. Replacing die and punch holders as required to ensure safe machine operation. Working from blueprints, engineering specifications and production schedules. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Ability to read blueprints. Ability to work in high paced environment. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to use measuring devices are required for product inspection. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Position may require bending, kneeling and stooping. Exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors and chemicals.
