Registered Nurse, (RN) - Intensive Care Unit, Part-Time, Night Shift Job Category: Acute Care/ICU Requisition Number: RNINT001078 Location: Anacortes, WA 98221, USA Job Details Description Island Health is offering a $15,000 sign-on bonus for an experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse for our 0.75 FTE Night shift at our hospital in Anacortes, WA. Work Schedule: 30 hours per week Night shift Salary Range: $36.90 - $69.95 $15,000 Sign-On Bonus Night Differential - $4.75 Evening Differential - $3.25 Weekend Differential - $4.00 BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour Certification premium - $1.00/hour For Information on Employee Benefits and WSNA Contract Why Choose Island Health? Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Job Responsibilities: Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing standards. Utilizes 5 step nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide service needed for patient care. Participates in communication and problem solving with patient/significant other, health team members and their departments. Assesses knowledge level of patient/significant other, participates with patient/significant other in goal development to meet needs. Develops teaching plan and evaluates outcome. Documents appropriate components of the nursing process according to established standards. Assesses own learning needs and establishes priorities and develops action plan. Enters patient data into computer. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and can identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs. Understands and supports principles of case management.
