Patient Volume: 45,000 Specialties: Robust Specialty Support Coverage Model: 40 HR PHY, 48 HR PA Number of Beds: 26 Acuity: Level 2 Trauma Center EMR: Meditech Qualifications Licensure: Virginia Medical License, and DEA Board Certification: PA C Experience: 2+ yrs ER provider experience preferred; will consider New Graduates with ER Nursing background Badges: ACLS, BLS, PALS Facility & Clinical Details The LewisGale Medical Center Emergency Department is a 506 bed regional referral hospital providing 24/7 emergency care to Southwest Virginia. The ED features 26 exam rooms, dedicated low acuity treatment areas, and supports a Level II Trauma Center with advanced diagnostic capabilities. As part of a comprehensive medical campus, clinicians benefit from access to extensive specialty services, including cardiovascular care, oncology, surgery, and a Level II NICU. The facility is also connected to two freestanding ERs, expanding rapid access emergency care across the region.
