Distribution Student Assistant (Summer 2026)

Distribution Student Assistant (Summer 2026) Streck is seeking candidates for a Distribution Assistant within our Distribution department for this summer. This position will assist in ensuring that all orders and products are packaged and shipped to domestic and international customers accurately and on time. The primary responsibilities include: Ship one-time orders, standing orders, and corporate account orders per work instructions. Ship international orders and complete specified paperwork. Operate required machinery and hand tools. Function in the department by building and finalizing kits for shipment. Lift 10 lbs. frequently and up to 55 lbs. occasionally. Requirements include: At least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school or college. Ability to work 40 hours per week (8-hour days M-F) Attention to detail Team player and motivated by team achievements Desire to learn new processes related to distribution Self-motivated, dependable, and coachable Interest in gaining experience in a production environment Work schedule: 8-hour days Monday through Friday shift times can vary between 6:30 am 5:30 pm Typical shift times 7:30am-4:00pm & 6:30am-3:00pm Dress code requirements: Casual jeans and t-shirt Physical/mental demands: Medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
