Packer PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer of high-end furniture in Lancaster TX. We are now hiring Packer Associates who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Packer Associates Job Summary $16.50/HR Shifts: 1st shift Receive foods, assemble meal kits to recipe specifications, ship kits following Good Manufacturing Practices, and meet health and safety standards. Replenish foods in assembly line for ship kits. Works on a limited number of food areas, lines, processes, or items. Work is relatively routine from week to week. May regularly operate standard conveyor belts or multiple pieces of essential equipment (approximately 30% of total equipment). Package meal kits following prescribed processes and procedures. Deviation from normal processes must be approved. Rotate and check food ingredients for freshness. May receive products and ensure the accuracy of the delivery. Keep work areas/assembly clean, demonstrating clean-as-you-go practices. May be required to complete essential paperwork related to food preparation, packaging, or labeling. Required to follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) as prescribed. In coordination with the team lead, identifies issues with Product, Food Safety, Quality, or Equipment and escalates matters to other departments or higher levels when needed. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications A minimum of 3 months of experience working in a manufacturing environment applying common processes, procedures, and equipment. Knowledge of quality assurance practices. Experience applying and enforcing routine Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in a chilled food environment is preferred. Experience / Education Ability to follow all appropriate safety standards in food production Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills General high school degree/G.E.D or equivalent preferred Why PROMAN Staffing??
