Training Coordinator We are currently accepting applications for a Training Coordinator in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Watertown, WI, conveniently located between Madison and Milwaukee. This is a regular, full-time hourly position. This position will work Monday-Friday day shift hours but will require some overlap on nightshift, plus overtime as requested. Annual Bonus Potential 5%+ Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Training Coordinator is to ensure good quality training and education in an effort to achieve operational excellence. The Training Coordinator also serves as a critical member of the new hire orientation team for all new employees. This role manages the completion of SOPs, FYIs, training exams, and other tools and resources required to meet our training and certification goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Key member of the New Hire Orientation Team Assist HR Team in organizing new hire orientation Deliver key trainings and plant tours Work with Production Supervisors to ensure training goals are met and shifts have well-balanced skillsets Work with supervisors to determine certification areas that are in the most need or best fit the skills of new hires Initiate and monitor basic operator training Organize and deliver training binders Spot check for completion and understanding during the training process for all employees Maintain tracking for completion dates, due dates, and next training for all employees Controls Alchemy and hands-on exams Verifies certifications have been entered and that all required documentation is on file Create, Review and update SOPs on a regular basis (at least annually) Track FYIs and verify that all SOP's are updated with information Manage associated trackers Maintain training documents and all other training-related documentation, including Safety and Quality Responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating all LOTO documentation including verifications. Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and maintain accurate progress updates Owns the Hands-on Training for Safety through Safe Food 360 Owns the SISTEM e-Learning process for all training types Organize training days Assigning training plans for certifications Follow up on any missed training Work with other facilities to ensure best practices and develop consistency. Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures. Maintain regular attendance at work and work overtime as needed. Qualifications Education / Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent 3 years of complex industrial experience (machine operation, troubleshooting, multi-tasking, etc.) preferred Experience as a trainer is preferred Intermediate to advanced computer skills Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, D365, Microsoft Navision, Plant Control Systems, and/or Label Management would be helpful Skills and Abilities: Leadership skills Excellent computer skills strongly preferred Excellent oral and written communication Organizational skills Self-starter Ability to work independently or in a team setting Ability to perform tasks on production floor as needed Speak, write and read in English Perform math at an intermediate level (multiplication, division, fractions, etc.) Work with allergens, such as peanut, soy, milk, etc. Positive, can-do attitude and flexibility to perform a variety of tasks Multi-tasking, problem-solving and decision-making skills Accuracy and attention to detail CQC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
