Class A CDL Driver Technician

Class A CDL Driver Technician Xylem is looking for a Class A CDL Driver Technician to service our water and wastewater treatment equipment at customer sites in the Sarasota, FL and surrounding areas. What your day will look like as a Class A CDL Driver Technician The Driver Technician will be responsible for the safe operation of a DOT regulated vehicle, transporting materials/equipment from point A to point B. The Class A CDL Driver Technician role will also include proactive system troubleshooting including working with mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment conditions based on customer requirements. The Class A CDL Driver Technician will anticipate and correct safety issues on both Company and Customer owned equipment. They will also have direct interfacing with customer and may be responsible for work in multiple systems/locations/customers. This position operates on a standard Monday-Friday day shift and has a compensated on-call requirement with occasional weekend work will be required for emergencies. Position Requirements Class A CDL Driver Technicians HS diploma or equivalent A valid Class A Commercial driver's license with a clean driving record 2-5 years technical experience in municipal, industrial or commercial process water experience, or equivalent experience working with other industrial and commercial equipment and their mechanical and electrical components Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices Ability to work in a high customer facing position Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more daily travel The estimated salary range for this position is $25 to $29/hr. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
