Warehouse Associate - Elk Grove Village, IL Overview Salary Range $20.00 - $23.00 Hourly Description Warehouse Associate Company Profile: Established for over 50 years, Yamazen Inc. is a leading importer and distributor of quality CNC manufacturing machinery, including machine tools and injection molding machines. We service manufacturers in the automotive, aerospace, construction equipment, medical, and I.T. industries. Opportunity: Yamazen, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Light picking and packing Operating sit-down and standup forklifts Packaging product for shipment Ability to create and read various labels Fulfilling sales orders Assisting in receiving product Assisting with light maintenance as needed Contributing to general cleanliness of the warehouse Other duties as assigned Qualifications Skills and Qualifications: High School diploma or GED Previous experience operating sit-down and standup forklifts lifting heavy equipment is preferred. Previous experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus. Some knowledge of UPS WorldShip & FedEx Ship Manager is a plus. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Able to read and write Able to stand for long periods of time Must be a team player Excellent communication skills are a must Strong attention to detail Compensation and Benefits: The estimated base pay for the position is typically between $20-23. The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
