Veterinary Office Coordinator Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: - Answering and managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and efficiency. - Scheduling, canceling, and rebooking appointments accurately. - Providing thorough and courteous client and patient communication - Responding to client questions and, when necessary, seeking appropriate assistance to ensure accurate information is provided. - Managing a high volume of appointments and phone calls while maintaining consistent customer service standards. - Performing daily tasks with high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail. - Accurately documenting client communications as required. Qualifications and requirements: - Minimum of one (1) year veterinary experience required. - Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills. - Strong attention to detail and organizational ability. - Proficiency in Microsoft office and basic computer applications. - Ability and willingness to learn, grow, and follow established protocols and directions. - Dependable, reliable, and accountable with a strong work ethic. - Strong multitasking skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment Physical and work requirements: - Ability to stand for an 89-hour shift (long periods of time). - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance. - Reliable transportation required.
