The Front Desk Agent ("Agente de Recepcin") welcomes our guests with a warm and friendly smile. Handles guest arrivals and departures in a courteous and efficient manner. Pay & Perks Compensation: $23.50 Earn $1000 for Culinary, Engineering, Housekeeping, and $350 for all other roles. for each hired referral at any Evans Hotels property. Essential Duties Proactively provides our guests with personal service and attention that exceeds their expectations. Plays a key role in ensuring that all guest needs are met in a timely manner by interacting and communicating closely with other departments in the hotel. Continuously provides excellent customer service when making reservations and uses effective up-selling techniques. Maintains a house bank and conforms to established cash handling procedures. Processes guest billing using cash, checks, credit cards and special billing. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training. Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred. Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required. Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges. Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs. The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
