Payroll/HR Specialist We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll/HR Specialist to join our client in Downtown Portland, OR. As an ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a combination of full cycle payroll and HR responsibilities. Responsibilities: Managing full cycle payroll in a team for a smaller-size company (100+) Maintain and verify the accuracy of all employees and payroll data within the payroll system. Safeguard sensitive employee information and uphold strict confidentiality standards. Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Support year-end payroll functions, including tax filings and reporting (e.g., W-2s, union reports). Assist the HR department with key functions such as recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee terminations. Perform other related duties as needed to support the payroll and HR functions. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years' experience combination of handling payroll and HR specifically in the legal or financial services industries. Sole payroll processing experience is preferred. High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and timeliness. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Benefits: Benefits vary depending on employer.
