Strategic Sourcing Specialist

• Responsible for supplier market research and obtaining documentation for solicitation efforts (drawings, scorecards, historical purchases). • Evaluates supplier information to determine most desirable suppliers. • The Strategic Sourcing Specialist II will help drive the completion of compliant FAR15 packages and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment with program requirements. • Execute FAR15 subcontracts IAW FAR, DFARS and applicable regulations. • Support negotiations (price, terms & conditions) • Manage key program suppliers. • Build supplier strategies to enable the best overall value to client YOU MUST HAVE • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance WE VALUE • Bachelor's Degree • DoD procurement subcontracting experience (FAR15) • Detailed understanding of DoD Procurement Life Cycle • Experience with Federal Acquisitions Regulations and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations • Strong negotiation skills and processes • Supply chain experience • Procurement experience within defense, aerospace, or similar industry • Experience managing subcontracts FFP, CP, CPIF, etc. • Experience with Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TCPD) • Ability to understand and negotiate terms and conditions
