Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Total Joint Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant to the team. This position includes both the clinic and OR. This is a well-established and busy practice. This doctor has a focus on hip and knee joint replacements and some general cases. The Physician Assistant will run an orthopedic clinic parallel to the physician. The group has a state-of-the-art facility which includes PT/OT, EMR and newer OR suites. Responsibilities include: - Run orthopedic clinic - First assist - Joint aspiration and injections - Pre-op and post-op H&P s - Hospital rounding - Write scripts - Coordinate with Physical Therapist - Ordering tests and evaluate X-ray, CT scan and MRI - Casting and splinting The location is 15 minutes to Grants Pass, Oregon. This doctor will train a recent graduate with an orthopedic rotation. Compensation: excellent. Additionally, there is an excellent benefits package
