Facility in Bellingham, WA seeking Ob Hospitalist locums coverage Rates: $200/hr Opportunity Highlights Target Start Date: May 1, 2026 (Expedited credentialing available for some candidates). Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7 00 and 19:00 7:00). Requirement of approx. 8 shifts per month. Facility will attempt to block shifts together for travel purposes. Work-Life Balance: No Call requirements. Setting: Inpatient Labor & Delivery and OB Emergency Department. EMR: Epic (Required). Clinical Scope & Setting The provider will serve as the primary OB Hospitalist on-site, managing obstetric emergencies and routine deliveries within a 13-bed unit. Daily Duties: Rounding, admissions, and coverage in the OB Emergency Department. Patient Volume: Average daily census of 10 patients. Required Procedures: C-Sections. Support: While the hospitalist is the primary on-site physician, community/clinic OBGYNs will be present on the unit for their own patients. Provider Requirements Degree: MD or DO. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience. Must provide documentation of OB/GYN services representative of the scope and complexity of the requested privileges from the past 24 months (waived for new grads). Licensure: Active Washington (WA) State License is preferred. Willing to license via IMLC for the right candidate. Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and DEA are required. Charting: Proficiency in Epic is mandatory. Credentialing & Logistics Standard Timeline: 90 days from application submission. Temporary Privileges: Can be granted within 120 days. Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation is required on the first day.
