Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/15/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights, rotating Employment Type: Travel Med Tele RN – 24 Beds (Inpatient Obs/Day Surgery) Certifications Required: BLS (ACLS preferred) Local Rate: Within 80 miles → rate reduced by $8/hr ⚠️ Must disclose if candidate has ever worked for Marshfield. If so, must be separated for 6 months prior to submission. All clinicians must clock in/out at facility. Ratios Days: 1:5 Nights (after 11pm): 1:6 Team nursing with LPNs: 2:7 LPNs on unit until 11pm Patient Population Pneumonia, cellulitis, UTI, COPD, GU Pacemakers, sepsis, nursing home placements Day surgery: Ortho (hips/knees), chole, appy, TURPs-CBI Very small peds population (rarely assigned to travelers) Experience Required Minimum 1 year MS/MS-Tele (acute care) Prefer TURPs-CBI knowledge Prefer Critical Access or Level 3–4 Trauma experience Must be comfortable with IV starts (no IV team onsite) Limited resources environment Clinical Details No titratable drips Charge nurse takes assignment (travelers may serve as relief charge) Nurse aides available Hospitalist onsite until 6pm; telemed after RT available 24/7 (CPAP equipment) Tele monitoring reviewed daily in ICU; basic arrhythmia knowledge required Scheduling 12-hour shifts: 0700–1900 / 1900–0700 Self-scheduling considered; blocking not guaranteed May consider 6-shift blocks when possible Requirements Weekends: Every other (Fri/Sat/Sun) Holidays: 2 of 3 required Call/Standby: Possible Floating: Required to like units/patients Scrubs: Solid professional color Orientation: Day 1: 8 hrs computer 4 hrs shadow Day 2: 12-hr orientation shift Day 3: Independent About Malone Healthcare - Nursing With a commitment to providing a higher standard of service and experience in patient care, Malone Healthcare places expert nurses and allied health professionals in rewarding careers throughout the United States.
