We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician OB/GYN in Ohio. Locum Tenens Physician OB/GYN Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Physician OB/GYN Location: Ohio Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: 24-hour on-call (Friday 7am Monday 7am, every other weekend) Start Date: As per availability End Date: As per coverage dates Position Details: Patient Population: Obstetrics & Gynecology Setting: Hospital call; Labor & Delivery Responsibilities: Labor & delivery coverage, obstetrics and gynecology services Required Procedures: Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) OB ultrasounds (interpretation and Level I/screening) Vaginal delivery and operative vaginal delivery Decision-making for C-sections Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs) Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Surgical gynecology (open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures) Tubal ligation, lysis of adhesions, chromal tubation Major operative procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy EMR System: Epic Support Staff: L&D nurses, midwives, APP coverage Days Per Month: Approx. one weekend per month (two weekends total coverage) On-Call/Weekends: Yes Coverage Dates: March 13 March 15, 2026 Submission Requirements: Board Certified Required Ohio License (or willing to obtain) Required BLS & ACLS Required Active DEA Required Clean Malpractice History Required NPDB Self-Query report (dated within 30 days) Required Join us today!
