Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Outpatient Clinic Start Date: May 1, 2026 - Ongoing Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Patient Population: All Ages Location: Ennis, TX Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency care, managing patient encounters with a focus on trauma and acute care. Collaborate with anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, radiology, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Execute newborn and pediatric care as required, including newborn resuscitation and general outpatient services. Qualifications Board Certification in Emergency Medicine required. Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Minimum Board Certification Eligible. Experience with comprehensive emergency and trauma care across all age groups. Working Hours Typically Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with no weekend or holiday shifts required. Skills Strong diagnostic and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency setting. Excellent communication and patient management skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
