Accounting Clerk $19 - $23 / Hour Columbus, Ohio Accounting & Finance Contractor Our firm is partnering with a client in Worthington, OH to bring on an Accounting Clerk with a strong background in Accounts Payable. This short-term contract role supports the finance team with invoice processing, data entry, and general administrative duties. We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working fully onsite in a fast-paced office environment. What You'll Do Handle daily accounts payable activities including coding, entering, and verifying invoices Ensure all invoices have proper backup and required approvals Communicate with vendors to clarify billing issues or discrepancies Maintain organized filing systems and ensure documents are properly stored Support the office with data entry and various administrative responsibilities as needed What You Bring At least 2 years of previous experience working within accounts payable Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and vlookups Strong attention to detail and solid organizational habits Ability to handle multiple tasks in an onsite setting Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset Pay Details: $19.00 to $23.00 per hour Search managed by: Jessica Robbins Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
