The facility features an 11-bed emergency department with fast track capabilities and serves as a vital healthcare resource for the region with an annual volume of 18,527 patients. Opportunity: Physician - Emergency Medicine Job Details: • Provide emergency medicine services with 15-20 patients per shift • Available shift times: 8a-8p or 8p-8a • Minimum commitment of 5 shifts per month, preferably 8-10 shifts • Ongoing availability required for 12+ months • Must be available for nights and weekends • 17% of ED patients admitted to hospital per day • Less than 7% of ED patients transferred per day • Will oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) • ED physician writes orders for admissions • Fast track emergency department with EMR system (All Scripts/Paragon) • Access to consultants including Radiologist, Cardiologist, Pulmonologist, Gastroenterologist, Urologist, and Hematologist/Oncologist • Must be Board Certified ABMS/AOA IM/FM • Active Ohio state license required (will accept IMLC) • Required certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS, NRP • Minimum 2+ years recent emergency medicine experience required • COVID vaccination required • Clean background with self-query NPDB required • Credentialing timeframe minimum 60+ days Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
