Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Three 12-hour shifts per week • Every other weekend required • Every other holiday required • Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends • 12 hours of orientation provided • Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, ENCP • 2 years of nursing experience required • General emergency department adult/pediatric experience required • Cerner charting system experience required • First-time travelers accepted if they have Cerner experience • Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Skills include blood product administration, central line care/management, care of ventilated patients, triage, starting and maintaining IVs, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration/monitoring • Daily census of approximately 90 visits per day • 39-room emergency department • Must complete facility-specific modules within one week of signing contract • Two supervisor references required • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive emergency department providing 24/7 emergency services to the community.
