Electrical Assembler

JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an Control Systems Electrical Technician to support the assembly and wiring of control systems for mobile applications. This is not a typical industrial automation panel-building role-our work centers around mobile equipment, utilizing automotive-style connectors, wire types, and rugged designs tailored for off-highway environments. This role is ideal for candidates with a technical background or training who are eager to develop their skills in electrical assembly and mobile control systems. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assemble and wire electrical enclosures and harnesses following schematics, drawings, and work instructions. Install automotive-style connectors, routing, and protection systems. Assist with testing and troubleshooting under guidance from experienced technicians and engineers. Maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S and safety standards. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in training and skill development activities. Provide feedback to team members and engineering on issues encountered during builds. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 1-2 years of hands-on experience in electrical assembly, harness building, or related technical field (technical school or equivalent experience accepted). Basic knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, or ability to learn quickly. Familiarity with hand tools, crimping, soldering, and wiring practices. Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Exposure to mobile hydraulics, off-highway machinery, or automotive wiring. Familiarity with automotive-style connectors or SAE J1128 wire. Willingness to cross-train across electrical and mechanical tasks. REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES Technical aptitude and ability to understand machines and how they work. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift more than 30lbs. Ability to crawl over equipment and perform hands-on wiring and assembly. Ability to handle stressful situations professionally as they arise.
