Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Special Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction materials testing and possess the necessary certifications to perform the required inspections. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to advance their career in special inspections with a well-established and reputable company. Key Responsibilities: Perform special inspections of concrete and masonry structures in compliance with NYC Building Code and other applicable standards. Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports in a timely manner. Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and clients to ensure inspections are performed accurately and efficiently. Maintain current knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements. Required Certifications: ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician (Grade 1) ACI Concrete Special Inspector or ICC Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector ICC Reinforced Masonry Special Inspector Qualifications: At least 1 years of experience in special inspections or related field. Strong understanding of construction practices and materials testing. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Excellent communication and reporting skills.
