Neuropsychiatrist Physician

The Department of Neurology at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist/Wake Forest University School of Medicine is recruiting an academic Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our Neuropsychology team. This position offers a dynamic opportunity for an individual at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Position Highlights: Neuropsychology Team : Join a dynamic team of three adult neuropsychologists, two pediatric neuropsychologists, a health psychologist, several psychometrists, neuropsychology fellows, and office support staff. Primary Responsibility : Provide neuropsychological assessments and treatment to patients with various neurological conditions, including stroke, MS, TBI, epilepsy, dementia, cancer, and movement disorders. Clinical Focus : Dedicated time in the Cancer & Cognition Clinic, as well as participation in the Movement Disorder and Inpatient Neuro-Rehabilitation teams. Multidisciplinary Collaboration : Work closely with other specialties and disciplines within the department, facility, patients, and families to ensure comprehensive patient care. Supervision : Supervise neuropsychology postdoctoral fellows and collaborate with advanced graduate students. Research Opportunities : Robust opportunities for clinical research and collaboration with the academic community.
