HR Generalist The HR Generalist serves as a primary point of contact for employees and supervisors, providing hands-on support across employee relations, benefits, performance management, and leave administration. This role is essential to maintaining a responsive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture. This position is well-suited for an HR professional who enjoys balancing employee advocacy with organizational accountability. Reports to: Senior Director of HR & Organizational Development Travel: Requires travel to satellite offices in Jaffrey and Peterborough Remote: Opportunities can be available after satisfactorily completing introductory period Key Responsibilities Serve as first-line support for employee relations concerns Administer benefits enrollment and employee education Coordinate leave management (FMLA, ADA, NH PFML) Support performance management and corrective action processes Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities Ensure confidential handling of employee information under HIPAA standards Provide backup support for recruiting and HR operations Requirements What We're Looking For Associates Degree in Human Resources or 35 years of HR generalist experience Strong interpersonal and documentation skills Experience in healthcare or nonprofit settings preferred Ability to work effectively across multiple locations Understanding of HR functions and best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Works well under pressure with ability to meet tight deadlines Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools Strong organizational and time management skills Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Meticulous attention to detail.
