Billing Specialist (Temp-to-Hire) Compensation $70,000$75,000 (perm salary); Temp: $35/hr Benefits & Growth Dynamic hybrid work schedule: three in-office days on Monday and Tuesday, and one additional day of choice, remainder remote Opportunity to own full billing cycle for high-profile sports/entertainment clients Direct exposure to collaborative, cross-functional finance transformation Why This Opportunity Stands Out Restructuring team for end-to-end ownership: career-defining exposure Build strategic relationships across different departments Growth-focused environment: clear path to permanent hire for top performers Key Responsibilities of the Billing Specialist Own complete billing process for a dedicated department Manage client trusts, billing, collections, and cash application in a centralized ERP (AccountAbility) Example: Money is received for client, a management fee is subtracted, remainder stays in client trust to pay high profile clients / support production costs Coordinate with sales, legal, and finance to ensure accurate agreements and reporting Lead preparation and presentation of A/R aging, collections status, and department financials Serve as main point of contact for vendor onboarding and payment remittance processes Must-Have Skills/Experience 13+ years in billing, collections, or cash applications; direct experience running the full billing cycle Industry experience in entertainment, agency, public relations, or lawOR strong transferable skills in related high-volume, multi-stakeholder environments Proficiency with Excel (XLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP systems Location New York, NY Hybrid; local candidates only #INDEC2025
