Client Support Specialist - Large Group Virginia Beach, VA First (Days) Sentara Health Plans in Virginia Beach is looking to hire a Client Support Specialist - Large Group. Location Virginia and North Carolina: Remote in South Hampton Roads (Norfolk, VA Beach, Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth), Peninsula (Newport News., Yorktown and Hampton) or Northeast North Carolina (Moyock, Elizabeth City); with travel to 2x a month in 1330 Sentara Park office. The Client Support Specialist supports the (Sr.) Client Executive and (Sr.) Client Specialist in producing and retaining profitable business in the Large Group segment. Interact with consultants, brokers, and benefit administrators and Sentara Health Plan's business units to achieve these objectives. Candidate will be responsible for project management of all administrative renewal activities including preparing renewals for underwriting, preparing proposals, preparing internal setup forms and plan documents. They will also review group agreements and contracts for accuracy and compliance. Candidate should demonstrate basic knowledge about health insurance and products. Responsible for maintaining the accuracy of customer data within a CRM system. Education: Bachelor's degree preferred. High School diploma required. Certification: Must obtain an L-HIL or L-LIFEHI within 90 days of hire. Experience: 4 years' related experience required. Related years of experience includes Business Acumen, Customer Relation, Administrative, Project Management or related field.
