We have an exciting position available, starting in June, for a duration of one year near Lake Pleasant, MA. Join a dynamic healthcare team, providing essential services in a supportive environment. Job Overview: Start Date: June 2024 Duration: 1 year Patient Load: Approximately 14-16 patients per day Cases: Target of 60% Oncology and 40% Hematology Hospital Call: 5 patients per shift Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in Oncology Hematology certification is optional but preferred Support Staff: Assigned Medical Assistant for each provider Support from schedulers, financial counselors, clinical research coordinators, Oncology RNs, Oncology Nurse Navigators Full lab and pharmacy support EMR: MEDITECH Expanse Required Procedures and Duties: Procedures: Chemotherapy - Intrathecal Bone Marrow Biopsy Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board Orders Tests Orders Images Prescribes Chemotherapy Administration: Nurse oncologist Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 1 night a week until 6 p.m. Call: 1 weekend per month (7 a.m. - 7 a.m.) and 1 night a week (5 p.m. - 8 a.m.) Qualifications: License: Massachusetts (Preferred) Certifications: ACLS (Required) Board Certified in Oncology (Required) Clean Background (Required) COVID Vaccination (Required at time of name clear) Credentialing: Timeframe: Approximately 6 weeks (Could be faster if provider is MA licensed) Certification Requirements: ACLS Board Certified State License Requirements: Massachusetts This locum tenens Hematology/Oncology opportunity near Lake Pleasant, MA, offers a meaningful and long-term professional engagement.
