Cardiology - Interventional Physician

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist in Idaho. Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist Position Type: Locum Tenens Specialty: Physician Interventional Cardiology Location: Nampa, ID Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: 24 Hour On Call (7a 7a), Hospital call coverage only Start Date: October/November 2025 End Date: Ongoing Position Details: Patient Population: Adult Inpatient only Setting: Level II Trauma Hospital, 100-bed facility with ICU, tele, and CMU beds Responsibilities: Inpatient consults (approx. 3/day) and interventional cardiology procedures (approx. 2/day); TEE preferred; STEMI activations average 3 per week Required Procedures: Interventional cardiology procedures (balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, IFR); TEE highly preferred EMR System: Not specified Support Staff: 1 2 APPs weekdays, 1 APP for 5 hrs/day on weekends Days Per Month: Must be available 2 weeks per month ( shifts/month) On-Call/Weekends: Yes, weekends required; flexibility is key Travel Requirements: Flights reimbursed up to $750 round-trip (including taxes & fees) Lodging reimbursed up to $179/night (preferred: Candlewood Suites Boise Towne Square, IHG Hotel) Rental car reimbursed up to $50/day (SUV upgrades only with preapproval) Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate (for personal vehicle only) Submission Requirements: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology REQUIRED Active ID license or active IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) REQUIRED COVID vaccination REQUIRED (verbal confirmation needed at name clear) Join us today!
