Locum Wound Care Physician Ohio We are seeking Locum Wound Care coverage at an outpatient clinic in Batavia, Ohio, to support physician gap coverage between permanent hires. Job Details Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic Location: Batavia, OH Reason for Coverage: Physician gap coverage Dates of Coverage: 12/22/2025 3/31/2026 Patient Volume: patients per day EMR: Epic Trauma Level: Not designated Required Duties Treating and managing skin reactions, vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, and diabetic ulcers Preventing skin breakdown and initiating preventative measures Comprehensive wound management and topical therapy application Patient and caregiver education on wound care techniques and ulcer prevention Assessment and treatment of draining wounds and fistulae Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) supervision Proper wound dressing instruction and post-treatment follow-up Types of Wounds Treated Acute wounds (inflammatory, proliferative, and remodeling phases) Surgical and non-healing surgical wounds Traumatic wounds (cuts, punctures, burns, tears) Ulcers (arterial, venous, pressure, diabetic) Chronic venous insufficiency Pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injuries, burns Treatments Used Bioengineered skin Debridement Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Incision & drainage Negative pressure wound therapy Post-surgical incision management Skin grafting Unna boot Total contact casting Credentialing Temporary privileging potential Estimated credentialing timeframe available upon request Travel & Expenses (Reimbursed) Flight Hotel Rental car Mileage (IRS standard rate) Submission Requirements Active Ohio medical license REQUIRED BLS REQUIRED ACLS Preferred for HBOT
