Position Type: Student Support Services/Speech and Language Pathologist Date Posted: 4/3/2025 Location: Ocean Springs Middle School Please email a letter of interest to Dr. Tricia Cox, Director of Special Services, : SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST - TEACHER - OSMS & OSHSCOMMENCING DATE: July 1, 2025 QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree from an accredited college/university for speech pathology with endorsement code 215 Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) issue by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Assosiation (ASHA) Valid Mississippi educator license issued by the Mississippi Department of Educations's Office of Licensure with necessary endorsement to be "Highly Qualified" as a Language/Speech Pathologist. Commitment to student-centered learning Interpersonal skills in working with students, professional colleagues, administration, parents, and community Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 187 days per school year (As Determined by Job Assignment) - Certified/Exempt SALARY: Commensurate with the Ocean Springs Salary Schedule for certified positions for the 2025-2026 school year Any person desiring to transfer within the system must adhere to School Board Policy GBE.
