Position: GTA IT Business ConsultantLocation: Atlanta, GA, 30334Duration: 12+ MonthsJob Type: Contract Work Type: HybridJob Description: We are seeking a highly skilled IT Business Consultant with a strong technical background to take ownership of projects and ensure their successful completion. This individual will possess a blend of project management expertise, organizational change management, and hands-on technical experience,enabling them to effectively lead projects from initiation to closure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership skills,technical proficiency,and a proven track record of delivering results. Candidates must be local to Metro Atlanta. They will be required to attend periodic onsite meetings. A hybrid work schedule will be determined shortly after hire. PROJECT OVERVIEW The client is dedicated to modernizing our court operations by building a Case Management System that will increase consistency and efficiency and streamline the administration of justice for all citizens. The purpose of the project is to build a Case Management System that will be a modern statewide, secure, digital, cloud based, case management system that interfaces across multiple courts, with a variety of existing databases, and reporting systems. The Judicial client / Administrative Office of the Courts (JC/AOC) the administrative agency of the client Supreme Court, will be partnering with Suppliers to implement this court case management system for client's courts. Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Take full ownership of assigned projects,providing leadership and guidance to ensure objectives are met within defined constraints (scope,time,budget,quality). Organization Change Management (OCM) Leadership: Help drive change initiatives, assess change impact, develop and execute change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption of the change, minimize resistance to organizational, process, and technology changes. Develop Change Management Strategies which include Stakeholder engagement, Sponsorship, Coaching, Communications across different stakeholder groups, and manage change readiness. Technical Oversight: Leverage technical expertise to understand project requirements,identify potential challenges,and provide solutions.Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure successful execution. Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans,including defining scope,creating schedules,allocating resources,and managing risks.Monitor progress,track milestones,and implement corrective actions as needed. Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with all stakeholders,including project sponsors,team members,and clients.Provide regular updates on project status,address concerns,and manage expectations. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline project management processes,enhance efficiency,and improve overall project delivery. Qualifications: Technical Background:Bachelor's degree in computer science,Information Technology,or a related field.Proven technical experience in a role such as a programmer,DBA,architect,or similar. Project Management Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g.,Agile,Waterfall).Project management certifications (e.g.,PMP,PRINCE2) are a plus. Experience working with the Judicial System is preferred. OCM Skills: Understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g. Prosci ADKAR) Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, build consensus, and resolve conflicts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-Solving Aptitude: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
