CAX Administrator - EV Battery Systems

Job Description: Experienced CAX Administrator to manage and support engineering tool environments that enable high-quality design and product development for EV battery systems. The role involves maintaining CAD/CAE/CAM tools, PLM systems, licenses, and templates, ensuring smooth operations for mechanical, electrical, and thermal engineering teams. Responsibilities: Administer, maintain, and support CAD/CAE/CAM tools (e.g., CATIA V5/V6/3DX) Manage PLM systems (3D experience), including user access, permissions, and data integrity Handle software installations, updates, licenses, and patches Create and maintain templates, macros, standards, and configured libraries Provide technical support and troubleshooting for engineering users Support data management, version control, and change workflows Assist in upgrades, migrations, and system integrations Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to ensure tool performance and reliability Requirements: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, IT, or related field 5 - 8 years of experience as a CAD/CAE/PLM/CAX Administrator Good Knowledge about CATIA V5/V6/3DX or equivalent CAD tools Experience with PLM systems and software license management Good understanding of engineering workflows and data management Preferred: Scripting knowledge (Python, VB, or similar) Experience supporting automotive engineering teams Familiarity with high-volume product development environments We offer attractive, competitive compensation and benefits including, medical, dental, 401k, short-term disability, AD&D, tuition reimbursement, and more.
